I guess you never really know who's the villian in these things or whether it's just part of a normal working relationship where people don't get along at times and money really offends people at their core.
Alomost everyone associates money with worth, value, respect, and a sign of trust.

Barry McGuigan was a great fighter, and it was refreshing when he came out with the Cyclone Promotions spiel. He was gonna put the fighters first, do everything with the fighter's interests at heart. But as it turns out, seems he just tried to stay relevent off his fighter's backs and make a boatload of money at their expense. Sad really, makes him look bad and tarnishes his solid reputation.

Na McGuigan is a shady character, there’s lots of awful rumours about his family And their business dealings going around.

They’re in litigation with multiple fighters at the same time. That’s never a good sign.

Everyone knows that Mcguigan is a scumbag, he had his entire family on the Frampton payroll.

Frampton had the much bigger split with Quigg yet ended up taking home less money than him.

Carl is as straight as they come from what I've seen so I'm inclined to believe what he's saying. Hopefully he can win that 3rd world title to show the world that he can do it without the Mcguigs
