From what I've seen Eastern Europeans are generally fairly reserved - even guarded - around people outside of their close circle. Cultural thing. People from more demonstrative cultures sometimes read that as arrogance. If you judge everyone by your norms and expectations it can sometimes lead you astray.

Lomachenko lives in this poor kids head rent free. He doesn’t wanna hear about him yet it’s all he can talk about. This is very clearly personal and emotional for him while for Lomachenko it’s just another guy holding a belt he needs but I’m sure all the yapping is helping to motivate Lomachenko. What amazes me the most is he has the gall to call someone else arrogant lmao.
