That’s idiotic, only Golden Boy and DAZN knows what’s in the contract. All these other idiots like Mike Coppinger are just assuming. Unless Golden Boy specifically states GGG as a future opponent for Canelo, which I highly doubt seeing how Golovkin was still a FA when Canelo sign his contract w/t DAZN. Then it’s simply bad negotiation from DAZN.

Wrong. If anything Golden Boy will bankrupt DAZN for breach of contract. Canelo's case is also weak, Golden Boy has a force majeure clause that states they don't even have to put on any fights until the pandemic is past us. Unfortunately for Canelo he has more balls than brains. His ego will hurt him bad here if he doesn't reconcile with Oscar.

No specific fights were promised to DAZN. Golden Boy and Canelo delivered premium fights last year. From what I've heard GBP aren't worried in the slightest. They're in the right contractually.

Mammoth the real lawsuit is between Nelo and GBP. As you probably know already, DAZN had a contract with GBP, not Nelo. So I would assume the highest bidder gets Nelo's next fights.
To my disbelief, Canelo never even saw the actual contract between he and GBP, and it sounds like GBP had put in writing that Nelo would have a trilogy with GGG, with out Nelo knowing. I think thats what help start the fire.

The contract he never knew the details of was the one between DAZN and GBP that gave DAZN final approval on Canelos fight. Then a few days later he signs a new contract with GBP that gave him final approval on his fights. Then a little while later GBP used the Canelo contract to get their own deal with DAZN.

Seeing quite a few people now saying he doesnt have an issue with DAZN, and that hes included them in the lawsuit to establish a direct line of communication with them, which is not normally allowed to happen without GBP not being involvd.
