Anyone with half a brain knows that Margarito has done nothing to deserve the fight with Floyd. All they had to stand on was that Margarito is offering 8mil and everyone said "Floyd wont see that kind of money unless he fights Oscar. The only other fight that comes close to that is Mosley but Floyd still wont get 8mil because Shane will want so much".
The whole time G. Leon said that Floyd's people guaranteed him that he will make atleast 8mil for his next fight but everyone thought he was full of ****. Now this comes out and all the haters look dumb, writers included.
Floyd knew this all along. You think he doesnt know the business or how much money is in a fight? There's no way that Arum offers Floyd 8mil unless he knew that Floyd could get that somewhere else. Now Floyd will be fighting Baldy for more money then Margarito so is Floyd still scared?
What is your argument now? You have none and I dont want to listen to any of that **** you guys try to spit or try to spin. I still say that there is no way that anyone can convince me that Floyd will take a fight against Shane, who everyone thinks would be a harder fight but he is scared of Margarito. No one is going to convince me that Floyd has fought Chico when he was killing guys, Castillo, wanting to fight Shane, Oscar, Hatton, Spinks, and seriously thinking about fighting Winky but he is scared to fight Margarito?
So much **** has been wrote about it so I want to know how any of the haters on here or the fans will try to spin this ****. He knew, he has business people all around him, he was a Free Agent with every big promoter wanting him, and he was taking his time trying to find out the right deal.
With Baldy he makes more money, wins the real belt, and he can shove it in Arum's mouth for being a Ass all the time. This Debate is Over as far as Im concerned and all the haters look ******. How many articles did we read with people saying that Floyd is terrified of Margarito and what differnce does it make who he has fought because Floyd will still get 8 mil and wont get half that much anywhere else. Its ok though, Margarito can go on fighting Clottey and those guys for 100,000 and fighting on Cotto undercards looking like a clown after being Prostituded by Arum. Also guys think about this. If he got 8 mil straight up front by Margarito & Baldy then the rest comes from the PPV's. Floyd said that no one knows Margarito and he's right. The whole time his biggest problem was that Margarito wont bring any PPV buys & everyone thought he was B.S.ing but now we see that its legit. The Baldy fight will get much more buys, therefore Floyd will get more money. If Margarito had a bigger name or bigger wins then he could be the one but until then he is short. Floyd will probally end up making close to 10mil for a Baldy fight and everyone called him a scared fool
