Suck....my....BAWLS (how Paulie Malignaggi would say it). These questions are asked all the time, glad someone could answer though but my answer was still correct. It's like asking why people living in the desert or in the Siberian tundra don't produce many swimmers.
How come Norway produce no good pro boxers?

Norwegians usually came to denmark to turn pro. Most notable would be Klemetsen, Havnaa (father and son), Tangstad, Evensen and Brćkhus.
Following the retirement of Mikkel Kessler, there's been no dane who could put asses in the seats and no promotor has been able to get a television contract let alone make money staging boxing.
Boxing is pretty much dead in all of scandinavia right now.
So even if you had some talents, there'd be nowhere they could display their skills.Comment

Boxing is a cultural thing, and to produce world class fighters, it's a numbers game. No(or limited) boxing culture, history and infrastructure will result in a miniscule talent pool of candidates to make it to the world class boxing level.
It would be cool to get more Scandinavian boxers competing at the top level though.Comment

this is a tough one, norway is the top country in winter sports it seems but doesn't produce many if any boxers, i wonder why? they don't seem to have any good basketball players either, we need an international investigation into this strange scenario, it just doesn't make any senseComment

Anyone remember that big stiff HW Leif Larsen or something? He fought Odlanier Solis when he was grossly obese. I remember watching it on Eurosport UK and thinking WTF.
