Well, when dw beat you nobody thought dw would beat you 10 times out of 10. You wouldn't necessarily be underdog in rematch, on the contrary id pick you in rematch

I’d like to see this fight again and that headbutt didn’t help at all.

I still feel Parker needs to be a bit more nasty and spiteful in the ring to beat these guys. He has the ability but almost seems too nice at times. Even his own trainer said he needs to show more grit. To be fair he did almost get the job done at the end of the fight but I mean in general, I’d like to see him fight with more bad intent

Whyte was never going to rematch Parker, why would he?

Parker didn’t rematch Fury after all in a similar sort of circumstances.

The Baby Hughie fight was a whole different kettle of fish to the Whyte bout.

Whyte was saved by the bell and a dodgy card based on a headbutt ruled as a knockdown courtesy of some fine homecooked reffing.

A headbutt that took Parker out of his game as he tried to shake it off.

There is massive doubt over who would win a rematch that the fans deserve to experience.

No fan ever needs to experience the borefest that was Hughie running backwards round the ring for 12 rounds throwing pitty pat feather fists at Joseph Parker.

Is Parker vs Whyte top of anyone’s list of fights to watch though? Whyte vs Povetkin was far more interesting for me , and obviously the rematch will sell far more now than a rematch with Parker would do.

If he wins the rematch fight then a fight with fury or Joshua would remain Huge. Why would he fight Parker before he takes on one of those two??

Parker did give hughie fury 2 x title fights, hughie did a no show for the first one, that was supposed to be in nz.

No one wants to see hughie fury fight anyone, he's horrible to watch.

Parker Whyte was surrounded by controversy because Whyte only won because of a Headbutt knockdown.

please explain how Fury prancing around the ring in a skirt not throwing punches is simular?

Parker never gave a rematch to Ruiz himself even though Ruiz won that match by popular opinion but for the judges who watched differently.

More, there's a triangle here. Joshua beats Whyte, Parker and Povetkin; Whyte beats Parker, Parker won Ruiz, Ruiz stopped Joshua in the first fight, Povetkin KOs Whyte... This means that there are fights to be made between Parker, Ruiz, Whyte, and Povetkin.

Whyte vs another retiree is a fight no one was screaming for.

Even fewer people want to See it a 2nd time , now that they know how bad Whyte really is.

Would much rather see Parker rematch, after the controversial last fight. But Whyte won't ever take rematch as he knows he get beat.

Yeah the headbutt was unfortunate but that's part and parcel of the fight game. I actually quite like Parker, seems like a good man but in 36 rounds of sharing a ring with Hughie Fury, AJ and Whyte he just didn't throw enough leather. Far too passive, especially on away soil with 2 of the events being PPV. Those were massive opportunities to impress, the unification bout with AJ in particular.
Apart of me thinks? Parker is kind of content just sailing along in his career etc He has been world champion, and now he just seems to be floating about.
