isnt golden boy his promoter? so they are blocking him from fighting ggg even after he said he doesnt want to fight ggg? why did he say that? as for the other guys if they dont want to fight for the money that is being offered then thats too bad. canelo should offer more of his purse to them like loma did to lopez if he really wants to fight the best as he claims.

But Golovkin said no, he wanted to fight Szeremeta even before the IBF ordered the mandatory.

That's not Canelo's fault.

As for coming out of his pocket to overpay some of these guys...he shouldn't have to do that. They were already getting good offers, far more than what Teofimo will be making.

We lost 2-3 years of his prime due to legal issues and I don’t want to see the same happen to Canelo.

Not particularly a fan of either, but I don’t want to see elite fighters wasting their primes fighting in the court room instead of the ring.

oh without a doubt but with good reason and what i said was all true. the guy wouldnt fight guys like bute and ggg but tried to fight sartison. you can look it up. im sure ward would have fought someone good eventually but he wanted to tread water for a couple years anyway so i dont think we really missed much because missing ward-sartison type fights isnt missing much

well he said he didnt want to fight ggg at the end of 2019 so thats a change. guess ggg got old enough?

well he has to if he wants the fights. he would rather try to win his money in court than in the ring.

its possible but it may not be that long. the potential for loss for dazn/gbp is much greater than just time. they may have to let that man walk if he agrees to go without the 280m. win-win. sort of.

I'm sure Dazn has weighed that option already, I'd like to think they knew the inevitable. With GBP they done. The line has been drawn. Don't see Canelo with them after this is done. & they not just gonna wanna let their most important fighter go.

As for how long this will draw out, time will tell. But history tells us it will be that long if not longer.
