Which is WORSE, Canelo “ducking GGG for 2 years” or GGG ducking Ward from 2012+?

But HBO wanted GGG vs Ward. When GGG beat Proksa, Max didn’t make it up in a whim without HBO’s transcription approval for if he was interested in Ward. Max asked GGG directly. GGG responded “why not!” were these arbitrary responses since if you were to ask fighters if they wanted to face Floyd of course they would say yes? GGG was then asked again in 2013 by ESNews if he’d want to fight Ward. GGG responded, “Ward is too much for me, not today.”
I’m willing to bet the only rational explanation for that was GGG was referring to the weight class. However, prior to that Interview he and Abel said that could make 154-168 easily. Obviously GGG wasn’t referring to Jenny Craig. He was referring to competing there since fighters whom compete in their divisions cut weight southbound...

Ain't even saying that GGG did wanna fight Ward, maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but that clip ain't evidence of anything other than Golovkin's ineptitude with English.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 09-08-2020, 03:34 PM.Comment

Nah man, the explanation is that GGG ain't very good at English... when asked another question in the same interview maybe 20 seconds later - about Geale I think - he gives the same sorta answer: 'Right now, before fight... I can't, I can't... too much.. too much'. You think that meant he thought Geale was 'too much' for him?
Ain
Bidness don't care about context. All he cares about is stroking Canelo. Hes far beyond help.Comment

GGG knows exactly what’s being asked. Notice with the Ward question it was short unlike the preceding questions...
And then of course, years later, 164 catchweight doe.
It’s ok. I know you like to defend GGG. It all comes with the territory, like when you itch about your Clenbuterol theories.. good thing Karma approved WADA revised list innit? Because medical research goes a long way!Comment

Nah you’re a bullshetter. Before that female question he Ellaborated 7 points as to why fans SHOULD watch the Geale fight, along with the date...then the chick asks what to expect from Geale about coming forward... he responds just like most fighters do in saying “tune in we’ll see” just like Canelo does, “we are focused now...for a good game plan...” instead GGG said he doesn’t like to make the predictions about the fight.

Cmon man. Try to be honest... the Ward question itself was more direct as was GGG’s response compared to that chicks question about Geale “coming forward” which GGG responded nothing like the Ward question and answered it comprehensively to say he doesn’t want to talk about Geale’s style before the fight.Comment

Well considering Andre Ward was never in the same weight class as GGG, I'd say it's impossible for him to have been ducked by GGG..
Canelo, however was champion in the same division as GGG, gave up his belt to avoid GGG, and claimed it was impossible for him to fight GGG at anything more than 155, even though he was the champion at 160, and wound up competing at 168 and 175, just a year after he fought GGG.Comment
