Comments Thread For: Lopez: The Reign Of Lomachenko, The Little Diva, Is Coming To An End

It was always going to take something special for Teofimo Lopez to make his way back to the fight capital of the world. The unbeaten lightweight titlist now plans to use that opportunity not only to launch his career to superstardom but to end the championship and pound-for-pound run of Vasilily Lomachenko in the process.

Idk about the diva part, if anything Lopez is acting like the diva. Crying over money yapping as much as he is. I call that diva behavior. That being said Oct 17 can't come soon enough

When equal speed meets Superior strength & power, Lopez wins, by KO..

Lopez by knockout in a really good fight where he’s tested beyond belief but shows his athleticism and speed can match Loma’s but the size an power plus grit will be too much for the legendary Ukrainian!

            Loma the Diva?

I'd say that Lopez is more of a diva than Loma honestly. Sure, Loma is ultra-confident which can come off as arrogance at times but I wouldn't call him a diva.

Divas are the guys who cry about nearly everything all the time and usually get away with it due to their level of talent. Not saying Lopez is that guy although he did moan and groan about the initial offer to fight Loma despite not having a very deep resume.

Looking forward to October 13th in any case.

Considering the fight threatening stunt he pulled, he must be grossly unaware of himself to call another a diva

I know he takes punches in the head for a living, but come on..

Lopez might win but you left out something. When equal speed and one fighter with superior experience meets another fighter with superior power, anything can happen. Lom uses angles and is a debilitating body puncher. That's why this is THE best match up of the year.

Bit harsh calling Loma a diva, he comes across very well in interviews and is not given to making silly demands or statements.

Just think Loma's technical superiority and ability to make adjustments if needed will prove too much. Lopez has definite power and speed but I just think Loma reads him, especially if he trys forcing things and loading up. That written, should be a *******, can't wait!
