Crawford has already cleaned out two divisions and is working on his third. Now you're asking him to move up yet again. The difference with Crawford is that when he moves up, he aims to fight the best. When Canelo moves up, he's looking to fight alcoholics (Kovalev) and punching bags (Fielding). Canelo could have made a statement by hanging at light heavy and fighting Beterbiev or Bivol, but we all know he doesn't have the stones for that.

Horn beat one of the best welterweights on the planet before Crawford decimated him. Canelo and Crawford both fought Khan but one needed a weight advantage and none of Crawford's competition were hand picked drunks, old men or paper-champions. Crawford fights the very best that are willing to step in the ring with him. Canelo can never, ever say the same.

Look in detail to what I wrote, and what the main point was, I talked about the last 4 rivals, Canelo did not fight Amir Khan in thes last 4 fights, so it's irrelevant to what I said.

Horn vs Pacquiao was a very controversial fight, majority of the boxing world saw Paquiao winning that fight.

Also you saying that Kovalev was a handpicked drunk still doesn't take out the popular consensus that Kovalev even as a drunk fighter was a too 5 LHW in his division at the moment Alvarez fought him which is what I stated on my FACTS.
