The irony was Canelo faced Kovalev at a heavier weight than Ward did,& it was only 2 yrs after Ward "tkod him sorta." Canelo fought him at 175 with 2nd morning IBF weigh in 185 lb limit for 6:00 am weigh in,& Kovalev then gained realistically at least 15 lbs by midnight when they fought, Jacobs blew off 2nd weigh in unlike when he faced deryevchenko when he abided by 2nd day IBF rules & that meant Canelo was at a disadvantage because he abided the rule. Bottom line is if ginger beats anyone including Beterbieve they will become past it instantly at increasing speed with each champ opponent.

If Kovalev is so “fragile” how in the hell did he withstand 11 rounds of Canelo shots?! Lol. Canelo was missing a lot, but Kovalev was getting his intestines splatter throughout the fight. It’s the reason why GGG and Jacobs respected Canelo’s power, particularly GGG from the distance.

Andre Ward was never as flexible as Canelo with arching his body for power shots to the body from a distance. Ward had to be severely inside to hit sequential body shots, or Ward breaks guys down (or at least tries) with his fast body jabs that don’t have a lot of pop as counter power punch to the body that Canelo capitalizes on when his opponents make mistakes. Taking a haymaker to the body from Canelo will slow most fighters down.

It took Canelo 11 rounds to seek and destroy Kovalev. ShaneBozo says Kovalev is “fragile” yet apparently he thinks Canelo doesn’t hit hard going round by round with the Krusher even when compubox is presented...
