Would a Lomachenko vs Mcgregor boxing match sell well to the public?

Anyone think this fight would do well?

Personally I don't think so. Mayweather or Pacquiao vs CM sells well but nobody outside of boxing really knows who Loma is so I can't see that match selling a lot of PPV. Hell I wouldn't even care to see that matchup and I'm a fan of the sport!

It would probably sell better than Loma against Teofimo or Tank Davis, just because of crossover appeal.

McGregor has been fairly inactive though and already has a boxing loss by stoppage (to an old, pillow fisted boxer, even if ATG) so it wouldn't do as well as before.

I'd say it could still get 1M ppv but Conor can get 1M ppv from UFC fights so he probably wouldn't be interested after the UFC gets its cut for allowing it.

I think it needs to be a race war to sell.

I think Gervonta Davis vs. Conor McGregor is perfect.

The dumb UFC wouldn’t be able to imagine a 5-5 dude knocking out McGregor. And then it would happen.

Size difference alone would prohibit such a matchup. Loma is tiny at 135, and McGregor looked like a full middleweight in the ring against Floyd.

Just looked it up, Conor fights at Welterweight which in MMA is 170lbs.

              That’s an insane size advantage.
