Draws that you scored as a draw

I rewatched Jack- DeGale recently and I had it 115-111 to Jack. Jack won some early rounds too. DeGale didn’t do much from round 4 onwards.Povetkin - Hunter was fair I thought, I had it a draw.
DeGale - Jack. People only remember the end of the fight that made it look like Jack won because he caused some damage, but they forget DeGale also dropped him early and won a lot of the early rounds. When scored round by round, I had it a draw.
Some fights are strange like that. Often we just look at who did significant damage or something like that, but It’s still scored round by round and often the story of the overall fight doesn’t actually tell the story of how each round went.
Found my score card: Gave Jack rounds 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12. Gave DeGale rounds 1, 2, 10, 11.Last edited by RJJ-94-02=GOAT; 09-06-2020, 10:11 AM.Comment

Bro...wtffff r u talking about? In amateur boxing where each point is scored draws are harder...with the 10 point must scoring system in the pros a draw is easily possible. There can’t be draws if you score fights right It’s virtually impossible because someone cannot have the same punches landed and or be the effective aggressor or ring control ,it should actually be done away with .
The knockdown that wasn’t counted would give Povetkin the Hunter win .Comment

I didn’t mention amateur boxing so your lost.
In pro boxing doing math of calculations of punches along with written rules to score fights of criteria no one fight can really be a draw . Most draws are actually robberies to not give the real winner the win just go back to Lewis and Holyfield but I’m guessing this will be to complicated to understand ?Comment

You’re lost because you don’t box. In the 10 point must system draws are easily possible, you said the opposite. I’m telling you that you are factually 100% wrong. You have no clue how pro scoring works. It’s not mathematical calculations of punches like you claim LMAOOO...that’s in the amateurs when they score each individual punch.I didn’t mention amateur boxing so your lost.

In the pros you can Outland someone by 100 total punches over 12 rounds and still lose. BECAUSE EACH ROUND IS SCORED INDIVIDUALLY.I didn’t mention amateur boxing so your lost.

If fighter A wins the first few rounds outlanding his opponent at a 2,3,4 to 1 ratio he can still lose the fight because each round is scored individually. You don’t look at total numbers abs say “fighter x should have won” that’s not how PROFESSIONAL ROUND BY ROUND SCORING WORKS THATS HOW AMATEUR SCORING WORKSComment
