My mind sees it going Kovalev's way but who knows if they would fight this day. Kovalev is getting old and battle worn. Lemieux does have crazy power (his knockout against against Alvaro Gaona was horrifying, guy looked like his soul left his body when his body stiffed up)

Kov has that crazy good and powerful jab too... Would put up some problems for Lemieux

but still, if i'd had to bet and odds were somewhat even,I would probably put it for Kovalev

Kovalev will outbox him until he’s caught, but he’s 50 years old and has been knocked out three times in three years.

In fact, he was knocked out by two guys who moved up in weight and another who doesn’t even have a 50% KO ratio.

Kovalev can’t take a punch anymore. So Lemieux would eventually hit him and win.
