I enjoyed Leo on the come up. He throw hell loads of punches. He started to fight people not on his level for far too long and gave up on the him. Saw the Frampton fights. Good fights. Think Tank will be too big and strong for him. Has Leo ever been down?

The problem I have with Santa's approach is the thinking that Davis only has a puncher's chance.
Davis is the more skilled, fresher, younger, bigger, stronger, missilic power in both hands, with a great chin. Gervonta never saw the canvas so far. Cruz has to contend with all that and more. Not just the weight or power. Davis is also the best body puncher in boxing, followed by Canelo and Spence.
I'd say Santa is the one who needs a puncher's chance. He doesn't even have that. Sorry.

I can’t wait to see Santa Cruz get knocked the **** out but Tank probably can’t KO him since he struggled with the chinny Gamboa.
Santa Cruz is the definition on what’s wrong with boxing. He’s won titles at multiple weight classes without even fighting true champions, the only guy was frampton and he went 1-1 with him and didn’t even want to give him the rubber match.
I never want to hear considered to be in the boxing Hall of fame

Does anyone knows what is Tank current weight. I hope he is keeping himself fit during the Pandemic..

I'm surprised people do not remember how LSC fought against the shorter Mares in that fight - everyone was expected a head-to-head Mexican war but Leo came out behind his jab and tried to keep it in the center of the ring for stretches - and he did a great job. Took some fun out of that fight, but it was a good approach against a shorter guy.
It's a bunch of IF's....he will just have to hope Davis will struggle to make weight and gets lethargic at some point in the fight. When Davis gets lethargic, he looks wide open up the middle and I think LSC could open up at that point.
It assumes so much though - Davis has major power in both hands, takes angles, is fast....LSC thin body, he can change levels here and there but a lot of time he's just earmuffing... he really could get whacked around like Margarito did against Mosley.
Just here to say I think LSC does have some tools to mix it up and MAYBE keep the fight at a certain range and open up later onLast edited by LA_2_Vegas; 09-07-2020, 04:14 PM.
