    Williams vs Mitchell & More?

The Williams-Mitchell fight is this week and Im very excited to see it. We havent talked about it much on here but it should be a interesting fight. So far Im 50/50 on this fight. Half of me thinks this is a dangerous fight for Williams because Mitchell is a vet, is slick, and he is also a Southpaw so that will netuarlize Williams biggest advantage. My question is this:

If Williams kills Mitchell & looks impressive, how many of you would love to see him fight Margarito? You know Margarito doesnt fight until December so Williams would definatly be ready and he wants the fight anyway.

The Margarito-Williams fight for me is also a 50/50 thing. Half of me thinks Margarito will "Cintron" the green Williams but the other half of me thinks Williams will give him hell and he knows that. My thing is that Williams wouldnt be my 1st choice since he is still so young but he definatly would easily be my choice over Clottey or Cosme Rivera. If Margarito wont fight one of the proven guys then I would like to see him fight Williams or Quintana "if" Williams looks great against Mitchell.

I still say that it has fight of the year written all over it and you cant tell much from sparring but Williams still says that everyone in L.A. who was at the gym knows that Margarito doesnt want no part of him and I dont see Margarito rushing to argue that.

2 Super Tall WW's who both throw over a 100 punches around, who both have high KO ratios, who have both already sparred together, who have a history, and are opposited handed? Thats a must see "if" Williams looks great this week

Williams is too big and too strong for Mitchell.Williams KO 6.I don't want Williams to rush into a fight with Margartio. If he beats Mitchell then he should fight a Top 10 Contender and then challenge Margarito.

there's good reason why this fight really hasn't been talking about much.. i'm sorry, this is no serious shot at the man, but Sharmba is the definition of a shot fighter at this point in his career.. he's a stepping stone for Paul Williams IMO as many people were thinking Mitchell would retire last year..

If Mitchell can weather the storm and gut this one out, i can see it being mildly interesting for awhile, but then I see Williams wearing down Mitchell by the middle rounds, Williams TKO/KO 7-9 as the quote "Boxing is a young mans game" seems to play into effect in this one..

I think if The Punisher looks good this weekend then a fight with Margarito would be very good. Williams is a good fighter who beat Walter Matthysse and I think since Matthysse and Margarito have similar fighting styles, but Margarito is more aggresive, and Williams won't back down, then it has potential to be a great fight. Don't worry DLT, I got ya back.

Youth and power will overcome experience on this one. Williams will make it past Mitchell.

A fight with Margarito? If it's feasible this December, why not. If not probably in the middle of next year.

Williams is a different fighter than Cintron.

Cintron was finding for the one big punch to KO Margarito but Margarito returned with several punchs. Cintron is the strongest puncher at WW IMO but lack handspeed, If you seen his last fight with Estrada he is change and knows what he is doing dominating Estrad with a jab and punshing with an Uppercut/ Straight Right if Estrad tries to come in.

In this match with William must use his hieght and reach advantge to dominate the fight, it very hard for Sharmba because he must come inside to put his punchs and most probably take some punchs. So Sharmba must use everybit of his speed and stamina in this fight so it more like 70/30 for Williams.

but in the last fight Williams didnt use his hieght advantage against his opponent as I seen in the HL.

If Williams has a trainer like Emuanul Steward thing going I think he would beat Sharmba and Margarito easily as well as going for one of the Top WW.

It could go either side but its.

What if Sharmba wins the fight.

will he is in top postion to take some fight of the top contender that he wants one of them could be Margarito, Cintron, or anyone that could give him a good payday but not the top notch.

If Williams doesn't KO him in less than 7, he does not deserve to step in the ring with Margarito. Plain and simple.

Williams makes quick work of Mitchell or will dominate him easily 1 of the 2! As for Margarito if Williams states his ready for that fight after sat and Margarito ends up fighting journeymen like Rivera or Clottey then i wanna see hundreds of Magarito ducking Williams post! But until then its fish and gravy......or chicken!
