Yarde needs to get rid of the muppet asap to progress his career.
I used to give Yarde the benefit of the doubt, but now Yarde himself is nearly as unbearable as Tunde. These ****** pad sessions with alot of hollering and no function at all are the worst cringe in boxing history. There's no getting Yarde away from Tunde, and the other guys, they're like a cult. Yardes now fighting a guy coming off a loss, telling everyone how great he is.

Yarde needs to build his name also. I like Yarde but they tried to catch a fading champion cold and it wasn’t close. He also got stopped by a jab, tired or not. Buatsi has a real good chance in that eventual matchup.

I hear what you're saying but the often unpredictable Ajayi is right here. Buatsi shows all kinds of potential and is a slicker operator than Yarde with accurate punching and not loading up but Yarde's loss against Kovalev is still better than any win by Buatsi at this point. No one expected the very green Yarde to stand a chance against Kovalev and even though he gassed out and got KO'd, he showed that with the proper training and tactics, he very well could've got Kovalev out of there. I think what he should've learned in that fight is invaluable and more than anything Buatsi has gained from fighting domestic level competition.
It's definitely nowhere near a PPV fight at this point but given they are on different paths with rival promoters, they may not matchup until both improve their stock and potentially rise up on the world rankings and are forced to fight each other. Time will tell.

I actually think Yarde would make a good Super Middleweight.
You're partially right but Yarde gassed out against Kovalev because he stunned him and emptied the tank. This comes more down to tactics and a lack of experience. Yarde was used to KO'ing all his opponents once they get hurt. He wasn't prepared for a more experienced fighter in Kovalev riding it out until he punched himself out.

fact is, yarde never beat anyone! the best guy he beat is a part time fighter called travis reeves. and lets not forget, the kovalev he fought was a shot kovalev........but he still got dominated and ko´d by a JAB!!! and this fool thinks he is some kind of star LOL!!!

All hope is lost for Yarde since he’s still with this fool!

Neither Spelman or Arthur will tell us much bout Yarde except that he’s not domestic level only!

You and Scopedog have it right here!
Neither of these guys have done much to make a fight between them ppv worthy. Callum Johnson has the best resume of the UK 175ers imo.

This is hot air hoping to solidify into leverage from Yarde's camp.

I smell fear from Yarde in fighting Buatsi because he doesn't want to risk another loss.

Buatsi has been recognised as an emerging prospect for quite some time now, and the light HW division has a quality problem - it is probably the deepest division, with talent galore - we're talking about two guys ranked 14 (Buatsi) and 25 (Yarde) on Boxrec as a major PPV view fight.

There is a little too much inactivity at 175 for mine - as many of the top guys are nearing their mid to late thirties - (they have Kovalev at #1?).

Buatsi's last 6 fights have been for some version of a title, his last 4 opponents have had respectable records - the only thing needed here is hype for the fight.

Yarde claiming Buatsi hasn't earned his stripes and doesn't have a sufficient following is rubbish.

His last fight was against a 36 year old with a record of 4-49-3!!!

Add this all up and Yardes confidence seems wobbly.

Yeah i agree with that. In all his other fights, hes always fought at a very steady pace and ended up hurting the other guy then finishing the fight. I think he will come back from this but i dont know if he will be a world champ.

I like Anthony Yarde.......... you can tell he tries to copy Mayweather defence and Roy Jones' offence....... he's just a copy but he has a unique style, and tries to take you out.

He needs hard fights, 12 rounds...... he gassed against Kovalev and that is his weakness, it's been exposed now, so people will just avoid him for 7/8 rounds and then apply pressure when he loses his speed and power.

Whether or not he is a potential world champ, he's got some big fights coming, and he can take any one out if he lands....... eciting boxer.
