and they r still having a 3rd...makes zero sense if they lost $ on 2nd!! Wen asked about Davis fighting Loma, Floyd’s famous statement was “Tank ain’t ready for Loma Yet”....Floyd never said anything about not being able to work with Top Rank!! Scared to lose that 0!!!!!Last edited by IRONCHINHAGLER; 09-04-2020, 09:35 PM.Comment

I think Loma is. I don't think it would be good enough though. I take Lopez by KO.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 09-04-2020, 10:05 PM.Comment

Personally I love the idea of Mayweather as a trainer, I think Tank if he can stay disciplined can really make it big in the sport considering all he's accomplished already. A guy like Mayweather is the perfect person in a corner IMO for a guy like Gervonta Davis considering he's had issues making weight before and all that jazz, so I'd love to see Mayweather in fighters corners because let's be a real he's one of the most disciplined and accomplished ever in the ring regardless of what you think of him and that type of fight IQ is a beautiful thing to pass onto a new generation of boxers.Comment

Floyd is pushing him a little harder now. Davis was in a sprint competition recently with his homies (in shape boys who were calling him a fat boy) for the weight cutting part and he outran them all.
The more I follow this weight story the worse I feel for Cruz.Comment

Translation: Floyd Mayweather Jr wanted time take over the training. Gervonta trains with Floyd Jr while Calvin Ford was left out of the picture in Baltimore. After a few weeks Floyd Jr and Gervonta bump heads (as usual). Gervonta stops listening to instructions. Calvin Ford is flown in and reinstalled as the trainer. Floyd Jr leaves camp.Comment

Floyd isn't his full time trainer, he's just helping sharpen his defense. Davis is fine with his trainers.Comment

Floyd never said that. Just because you believe something doesn’t make it true. And the 3rd fight is happening because there’s a contract. Everything was negotiated before the 2nd fight took place. Jesus how long have you been watching boxing? Don’t you know anything?and they r still having a 3rd...makes zero sense if they lost $ on 2nd!! The bold: Exactly.Floyd never said that. Just because you believe something doesn’t make it true. And the 3rd fight is happening because there’s a contract. Everything was negotiated before the 2nd fight took place. Jesus how long have you been watching boxing? Don’t you know anything?
Floyd crossed the line when he threatened Davis with a Loma fight suddenly. We all know you don't make fights without consulting the fighter first. Floyd was a bitch. You don't just casually tell the fighter about a fight of this magnitude, especially someone in Gervonta's position. You talk to them first. Floyd was like a woman scorned because Davis refused his offer to move to Vegas prior to the mention of Loma fight.
Davis is too fierce to duck anyone.
The story of Floyd contacting TR is also conspired and bogus. He never did that, despite what's assumed or fakely reported. Again, it was Floyd being a bitch, and the rift it caused is something Floyd needs to repair going forward. The training sessions are meant to do that. Still, not sure Davis trusts him.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 09-05-2020, 12:45 AM.Comment
