One of the hardest punchers in lightheavy - Ray Lathon?

    Montell Griffin: Best I Faced

    BEST PUNCHER
Lathon: Without a doubt Ray Lathon. I’ve sparred heavyweight champions, Hasim Rahman, Lamon Brewster, Samuel Peter and nobody hit me harder than Ray Lathon.

What do you think about this? Only a few information about Ray Lathon in internet...
Did anybody knows him from this forum?

He was murdered. Shot dead outside a gym I think.

Apparently he was involved in some sort of gang warfare and there was 10K bounty on his head.

Sad really, he had a lot of potential based on what Griffin said.

Apparently he was a legit puncher. Too bad his career got cut short. You just never know.
