This would have been a sweet fight op. Roy would have had to been perfect at every moment. Only one small man Chris Byrd beat this guy. If Roy could duplicate the gameplan I would call that his best win. Forget ruiz, he already got his respect for that not a bad win.

Jones in 99 was lethal speed and timing but his power would not match up. He wouldn’t be able to crack a pimple on Tuas face. I’ve no doubt Jones could’ve outboxed Tua but it would be pins and needles b/c of Tua’s power. I pick Jones by wide UD.

Tua though has knocked out Ruiz and came off that war with Ike.

I could see Jones on his legs giving a boxing clinic for 12.

But Tua was a bad man with out of this world chin and power so I’d say Roy -180 Tua + 120 is about right.
