Hell no, he’ll get respect if he fights and stops Thurman or if he fights Gary Russell!

He’s not the same Brook, but he’s still talented, strong, and significantly bigger than Crawford (I didn’t think Brook would ever fight at 147 again)

He looks huge at the moment.
He’s always looked huge though. I watched him fight Spence and Golovkin during the lockdown, and he was bigger than Spence and for a guy moving up, he didn’t look undersized against G either.

I don't think he should get any respect at all for fighting Brook. He should get disrespect for another cherry pick. The Brook who beat Porter was a good welterweight champion but that boxer is history. Today's brook is just a shell of his prime self. By his own admission his has no business fighting at 147 and is very weight drained at that weight. He has not fought at that weight since he fought Spence years ago. GGG and Spence took a lot out of him. He seems to have lost his love of boxing and his will to fight. He has had no win over anybody good or any impressive performance since Spence knocked him out. he has looked lousy and done nothing to earn a title shot. he isn't that bad and he is a better fight for Crawford than Khan was but that is not saying much. Porter or Ugas would have been very good fights for Crawford. Instead he will probably KO Brook and it won't mean much or be a very good win.

Welterweight champion Crawford fighting featherweight champion Russell would be a disgrace on Crawford's part and a terrible mismatch. Russell thinks he earns a shot at Crawford because he cussed him out but boxing doesn't work that way. You earn a title shot by victories in the ring not by running your mouth. If Russell beats any welterweight in the top 10 world rankings then give him a shot at Crawford. Until then *** the little bragger. Let him start defending his own featherweight title more than once a year.

Does he meet the credentials in your eyes as a worthy challenger?
He meets the criteria for me as long as he can safely make the weight. I hear people saying Brook "got beat by a stripper" (Michael Zerafa) but the fight wasn't close on the cards (Brook won by UD 119-109, 118-110, and 117-111)

Besides that he has scored two KO's so I think people are just repeating what they hear instead of actually breaking down the fight.

Do I think that Brook is the same guy he was pre-GGG? No, however I think he represents a decent challenge as long as he can make weight safely.

Errol Spence after beating up Brook coming from 160lbs and a stoppage loss/orbital break/layoff/surgery = amazing win omg, best 147lber

                  Crawford beating
brook coming from 154 = not worth nothing.

Oh, and the other one. "Brook hasnt done anything in years". Like he'd done something before fighting Spence. Do people realise the Porter fight was about 4 years before Spence? Brook did *** all except get his sht pushed in by Golovkin before Spence.

Thurman is as broken as Brook and Russel is a midget as for Thurman he lost had surgery and is unproven he doesnt deserve TC and neither does Brook, for me the only fights for TC were Manny Errol Porter, Manny went into hiding after names were dropped the other two have fights, I think TC was banking on Manny and got left with scraping the barrel.
