Anyone chime in on this?
Is it a complete myth that Pacquiao ducked Mosley?

not a myth....and im not here to bash pac...i dont have any ill will towards him....
shane whooped margs in january of 2009....shane approached freddie about a fight at the wild card gym...roach said "if you can make 144"...he said "but you fought oscar at 147" and freddie said "you arent oscar".....shane had just whooped a supposed boogeyman....
dont get me wrong...the hatton and cotto fights he took that year...in 2009...were bigger events....
but hatton had been knocked by floyd already...and then rocked by juan lazcano then hatton took on a featherfisted paulie....
the cotto fight ended up being actually kind of a tough fight for pac and he sustained some damage in it....but it was the year before that cotto had taken the beating against margs...and then came back and some thought he didnt look so well against clottey and maybe even lost
both big fights and events...so i cant really blame pac....but he didnt want anything to do with shane and margs until he saw them exposed imo -
If a Floyd fan is criticising Pac about something usually it is a myth.
Other than that i d only think pac could be ducking SSM if Pac was fighting bums instead and ssm wanted Pac more than he wanted floydComment

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."
Mosley offered to fight Pac at 142 when he approached them the 2nd time... but nope
they wanted nothing to do with Mosley until AFTER the Mora fight, when it became clearly obvious that Mosley could no longer pull the trigger

Right! I love how many people truly think that these trained elite fighters are actually scared of each other. All they’re scared of is not getting all the money they think they can out of the deal, or risking a match against someone more lucrative. This is prize fighting.Comment
