Isn’t it obvious why DAZN is pissed at Canelo?

DAZN thought they had Canelo-GGG 3, the second biggest fight that can be made in all of boxing, lined up. It seemed obvious that the fight would have to happen but Canelo refused to make the fight.

So Canelo destroyed one of the biggest events DAZN could possibly make.

DAZN thought they had a chance at an undisputed middleweight fight between Canelo and Andrade. Because it’s for all four titles in a glamour division, that was probably the third biggest fight that could be made in all of boxing.

Canelo expressed interest in unifying but when the chips were on the table, he vacated a title and ran away from Andrade, destroying DAZN’s stranglehold on 160.

So Canelo again destroyed one of the biggest fights DAZN could make and gave away one of his titles to a rival promoter.

Instead of fighting a viable in-house option, Canelo kicks and screams and makes DAZN pony up to bring in a fighter from ESPN, Kovalev.

DAZN is happy to do this as long as Canelo wins. they would get a title back from espn and they get their big Canelo fight. It also sets up for a big 175 unification fight on DAZN between Canelo and Bivol.

Canelo wins but refuses to fight Bivol. He then vacates the title immediately and lets it go right back to ESPN. ESPN now holds 3 175 pound titles to DAZN’s 1.

Canelo continues to refuse to fight GGG next but signs up to fight BJS instead.

DAZN is okay with this because Canelo promises to fight GGG after BJS and GGG agrees to the fight.

Covid happens and it delays the GGG-Szeremeta and Canelo-BJS fights.

Canelo tried to skip BJS all together and get GGG in the fall. GGG refuses because he won’t pay to get out of a contract.

Canelo then decides BJS is too difficult of an opponent if there’s no audience. He never signs him and starts looking for absolute garbage opponents.

BJS walks away and GBP is publicly talking about Dirrell, Ynvildrim, Lemieux, Ryder, etc.

DAZN loses their minds because Canelo killed the BJS fight, which was acceptable, for no reason. He then tried to look to fight roadkill for $35 million.

So DAZN tells Canelo he can fight roadkill but it won’t be for $35 million.

The Canelo fans, who complain about opponents being greedy when they’re trying to get a 12% cut, can’t figure out why DAZN won’t pony up $35 million for a bad fight.

So now Canelo, who personally destroyed every possible big fight option on DAZN, isn’t going to fight until covid is done. He’s sitting out because he’ll only fight someone out of the garbage can unless there’s a crowd.

DAZN doesn’t even give a s**t because the punk is such a diva. They’re just trying to get some heavyweight action rolling.

All the Canelo d**k riders on this site then make a bunch of threads about how everyone is so mean to Canelo.

He’s a cheap bastard who won’t take a risk. Let’s stop praising him. DAZN is in the right here.

Nelo doing the Mayweather model, let it marinate until it is a huge event.

        It's the truth.

What else did Canelo expect when he signed with DAZN? That made it impossible for Canelo to continue the Floyd blueprint that hes been using his whole career.

DAZN would have had the biggest fight available and would have made tons of money. You could add Jacobs/Fielding/Kovalev all together and they wouldn't even pull in what Canelo/GGG 3 would have in early 2019.

Those fights costs DAZN 85 million just for Canelo. Way overpriced for the supposed "face of boxing".

Guy was so confident he beat GGG clean that he passed on an easy payday citing the location as the back breaker of the negotiations too.

But now GGG is supposedly back on the table as an option but that fight has lost value because GGG hasn't looked good as his age has started to really show.

If Canelo never fought again I dont think too many people will miss him. I know I wont.

DAZN’s implementing Spotify based revenue technologies, so they are adjusting new contracts. DAZN is planning on creating a new boxing portal before end of year.

Keep in mind DAZN is also calibrating for 5G across the board or markets that benefit it the most.

It’s just DAZN and Canelo playing hardball with each other.

Canelo fought Jacobs and Kovalev in his first full year. He’s fulfilled his end of the bargain in fighting top level opponents.

DAZN won’t pay Saunders or Smith the money they want to lose their titles against the biggest star of the sport. This is the same DAZN who paid Tevin Farmer $1.5mil to fight Frenois. If Farmer got that amount to fight the European champ, what money should The a Ring Super Middleweight champ get for fighting Canelo?

They are reaping what they sow.

Almost all of this is indisputable.

Told ya'll pay attention to who's saying what on this site. Credit myself since they won't give me the credit I deserve.

This nìgga wanted to hold up the WBC 168 belt when it was a great chance he ain't gonna fight period. Like I said before if my boy gotta lose, everybody gotta lose. Too much fùckin politics in the sport. Idc if he loses years off his career like Ward or this will be the result of Dazn's demise due to his actions. Everything comes full circle!

Hell, Canelo just tried to fight an unknown Turk on Showtime. He is DAZN's worst nightmare and they are very sorry they signed him to a 350 million dollar contract. Money horribly spent.

correct that Ginger is following the Mayweather model, but not just marinating, but waiting till his opponents looks old and vulnerable. Remember Ginger dropped the WBC belt instead of facing GGG, even after getting in the ring and saying Mexicans don't F@#$ around! Only when GGG fought Jacobs and looked beatable was the fight with Ginger made.

i dont know why canelo ducked the third ggg fight. really doenst make much sense since he prob wins it easy. he told ggg to get a belt and he did and then he didnt fight him. we know he was roiding for the 2nd fight so imagine how many ped's he has done since then? now that he has been unchecked for 6 months i suspect he could body slam andre the giant
