Luan Krasniqi, challenger to one of the title holders?

This is a guy who i'd like to see get one more shot at the big time. I believe there are many worse contenders out there than this guy, the Brewster defeat was certainly a setback, but i believe he has enough quality and technical ability to bounce back. Looking at that joke of a champion taking on that bigger joke of a challenger [Valuev and Barret], makes me think a guy like Krasniqi certainly deserves another chance, he is high in the WBO rankings, so he may get another shot.

As far as i'm concerned they're bigger jokes, yes. Valuev has been given two gift decisions, and is being fed an opponent who should not be challenging for a major title. Krasniqi is a well schooled fighter, great amatuer, good ability, just slacked off in the Brewster fight, i'd put big money on him beating Valuev or Barret anyway.

        So:

Barrett is a joke because he was robbed against Whitaker and Mesi......and lost a close fight against Rahman?

He's defeated the better level of opposition compared to Krasniqui. That Luan has been fighting total garbagemen.

I agree. krasniqui is a journeyman who was knocked out by light hitting prym saleta. he had his title shot and got knocked out. he's done nothing to deserve another shot

He got his revenge by TKOing Saleta in round one in a rematch.

He gassed out against Brewster, he was beating him on all cards at the time of the stoppage.

I agree with thread creator, hes definatly better than some of the contenders names being thrown out.
