Comments Thread For: Franco: Life Is The Same For Me, Just A World Champion Now - The Only Difference

Joshua Franco still vividly recalls hearing the words and the NEW' in dethroning secondary junior bantamweight titlist Andrew Moloney earlier this summer. The only thing he hasn't been able to experience since then was the feeling of actually holding the title in his hands. That changed for the San Antonio native last month, when he finally received his World Boxing Association (WBA) "Regular" 115-pound crown at Golden Boy Promotions' headquarters in Los Angeles.

He is absolutely 100% NOT a World Champion. If Inoue gets stripped or vacates his super-title Franco will be elevated. If not he'll eventually get a shot at to challenge for it. The WBA is a joke

Ignorance is bliss. James Franco, I'm your mandatory. I'm sick and tired of being the 'average' boxingscene internet-champ, I want my shot!

Inoue has not fought at 115 in 3 years dude wtf are you talking about. You mean Roman Gonzalez get your story straight. Inoue is planning on moving to 122 not back down.

Yeah you're right. I thought his title was at Bantamweight for some reason. I don't really pay attention to him. But my point still stands. Until the WBA Super Champ Vacates he NOT a world champion
