To begin with, Maidana was never very good.

He has losses to Alexander and Khan. Elite guy wouldn`t have that kind of losses in his prime. Alexander and Khan are not big names.

He beat Broner, Josesito Lopez and Karass at 147. broner is fat 140 guy, Josesito is a gatekeeper, Karass is a journeyman.

Maidana was just bad matchup for Mayweather. But stop hyping him in something bigger than he ever was.

I like Maidana, but he was always B level fighter. The same level as Matthysse.
