      "Nobody wanted to fight Ortiz"

The guy was busy serving drug bans and filling TUE forms out incorrectly LMAO.

That is what Hrgovic needs, my friend. Rounds. Rudenko would give him 12 rounds, indeed. Nobody stopped Rudenko so far.

Gatekeepers are there for a reason, to give other guys rounds.

Hrgovic must fight somebody tough. After he beats Rudenko level fighter, he should fight somebody who fights back.

Id like to see Hrgovic against Charles Martin

What do we know about Martin well he's not top level (AJ) but he can mix it with the Kownackis and Washington and Glazkovs and do pretty well

If Hrgovic really is some fantastic heavyweight Martin won't give him too many issues and if he isn't we get a good fight.

Martin throws a lot of punches. Hrgovic has never fought a hitter like that. Should be fun. I think Martin is better than Joyce.

Of course, Babic is no boxing mastermind but he has power, is willing to fight whoever and puts on a lot of pressure. Sure, Hrgovic is more experienced and has fought better competition and should be considered the big favorite right now if he were ot take on Babic but Tom Little? Honestly? You think Babic needs to fight Tom Little first? He's already beat a better boxer in Winters. Little would be a backwards step IMO. Sounds like the Savage has y'all shook!
Little joke there but Babic has peaked my interest. At least he brings the pain until someone knocks him out.

he will fight all bums Hearn can find until somebody calls his name for world title shot.
he's only had 10 fights so far. The only way he could get a big fight is if he was either headlining and it was ppv, or on the undercard of a BIG ppv card.
I'm assuming he needs a tune up fight before he's ready to fight on a DW or AJ undercard.

In the UK we get the British title which is usually a big ppv eg
Fury vs Chisora (when Chisora was unbeaten), AJ vs Whyte and now Joe Joyce vs Dubois.

Talk of Hrgovic vs Babic headlining a card in Croatia is actually the only way they might make enough money, otherwise i cant imagine it doing well in the UK or US or even Germany.

also im pretty sure he wont just get a free shot at a champion. He'll have to go through the mandatory process and that should mean coming up against guys similar to him.
Again the big problem is, who pays for those fights? eg if its him vs Ajagba or Tony Yoka or someone on that sort of level who's similar to him. i doubt other promoters would be in a rush to put those on..neither bob or al haymon would give a toss.
Maybe Hrgovic vs Parker sells in the uk, or hrgovic vs usyk, but it wont be within the next 12 months.

Who didn't want to fight Ortiz ? he was always a B level fighter not willing to put the work in. He turned down 7 million for Joshua (his coach admitted that) , a pvp uk fight vs Whyte and got two world title shots against Wilder for nothing basically.

One win against Jennings on his record and that's it, Joe Joyce actually has a better record now.

                      Ortiz was just a cult.
