Bellew on the punching power of Usyk compared to Haye

Bellew was interviewed on 5 live this morning and talking about Usyk and Haye.

"At the time I faced him Usyk was the much sharper puncher, he got me flush when I was exhausted and I couldnt hold up, he keeps you working, it's extremely draining, but he hit me many more times than David"

"When David hit me I had a lot more weight on me and I knew I was able to avoid being caught cleanly as I could see the punches coming, even so I had headaches for days after the (first) fight, as well as buzzing sounds in my ears, he was unbelievably heavy handed, even more so than I expected to be honest"

Prime Haye would have left Bellew in a coma.

At least Bellew "sort of" admits that Haye was washed.

      Sad nights those were.

It sounds like Haye hits much harder but Usyk is much more accurate if I understand what he is saying correctly..

It sounds to me like neither are really devastating punchers.

Bellew was able to absorb Haye’s punches because he was at heavyweight. He felt drained at cruiserweight.
