The Ring Magazine is owned by a promoter so there title holds no significant value anymore. The WBA and WBC are the most corrupt organizations and have the most BS titles. The WBO and IBF do dumb things but not on the same level as everyone else. I would say lineal has the most historical importance and is therefore the most prestigious compared to the rest.

2. The RING
3. WBC
5. WBA Super
6. IBF
7. WBO

Obviously it can depend on the circumstances behind someone gaining a title (ie. Charles Martin), but in the main, this is how I would rank the titles in importance and prestige.

WBC - Most historical authority

WBA - second most historical

Lineal - I'd put lineal on top if it was just history based, but, it's not. I's got a lot of nonsense attributed to it by Ring fans refuse to let go of. So, because people believe things like a lineal champion can be stripped for inactivity I can't see lineal as more historical than the WBC or WBA because that bull**** was made up way after the WBC/A

IBF - I'd be fine to see the IBF as an unterbelt no more important than the IBO. The IBF is just a splinter of the WBA and without their shared history only has a history that goes back to the 80s. dgaf. Only reason I respect the belt is because the WBA/C both acknowledge the IBF as equal.

WBO - Just like the IBF the WBO is just an 80s splinter of the WBA I'd be absolute fine to do without.

Ring - A magazine belt from a man who plagiarized most of his work and made up what he didn't steal. Ring is responsible for more misinformation than any other media source in boxing, but, it's well respected by many so I respect their reach and control. Who here believes you crown a lineal champion during a vacancy by having the number one and number two ranked men fight? You believe ranks existed before sanctioning bodies do you? Exactly my point. Wlad, lineal? Because he was ranked 1 by ring and Ruslan 2? Sullivan was a ranked fighter by who? Yeah...there are no ranks, that's just some justifications pulled out of ring's ass. **** like that is why I really don't give any ****s about ring.
