1a) Pacquiao
1b) Mayweather
I don't think I could ever rank any of these two as #2 in their generation. Hopkins is most likely the #2 in this generation.Last edited by RuleOfTheSpear; 08-29-2020, 11:55 AM.Comment

Keith Thurman: Manny Pacquiao made a type of history that will never be repeated.
I’m probably about 100 percent right when I say nobody will ever do what Pacquiao did ever again. I’m probably 100 percent right. It’s very unlikely, and a lot of people don’t have the opportunity. A lot of people really don’t have the speed and power to go through that many weight classes. And a lot of times once when they do they are going to find their limit and their gonna get hurt and then after they get hurt they’re normally going to put themselves back in a more comfortable situation, Pacquiao never did that. Like I said, been knocked down, been knocked out, still going to show you how great I am. That is what Pacquiao did, he made history. He made a type of history that will most likely never be repeated.”
Money may is the only clean boxer and undefeated in boxing and that can not be achieved by anyone.Comment

Kellerman mostly nailed it on the head. Pac's achievements are greater when you realize where he started. A former flyweight beating the heck out of WWs or Margarito who was 17lbs+ heavier than him at Middleweight.
Pac fought a naturally larger Floyd and probably would have given him hell had they fought in Pac's prime. That being said, he wasn't the prime Pac we wanted to face Floyd when they did and Floyd already had advantages. Naturally larger, defensive who wasn't going to engage. Little pot shots here and there while keeping the smaller fighter away. Not a very inspiring performance to say the least... In fact, he should of taken more chances to get a more dominant win over Pac, Marquez style.
Floyd's always been a less risk, high reward type fighter and assesses the situation before getting into it. He knows people only watched him because of the "0" and had he lost that, he'd lose the mega paychecks. For me, it was a carefully crafted layout of fighting opponents at the right time with handicaps in Floyd's favor always.
Pac was in so many matches where he wasn't picked to win and did, and typically impressively. That makes it all the greater when you compare achievements.
Whether you talk about Floyd or Pac, you can always have some negative thing to say about their wins, but in the end, whose truly was more impressive regardless? There is no question there.
P.S Oh and if you think being undefeated equals being better, you DKSAB.Last edited by ELPacman; 08-29-2020, 12:27 PM.Comment

Even you're not dumb enough to believe that. Are you?
You can post all of these negative lies about Floyd every day for the rest of your life but it will never change the fact that Floyd EASILY beat your hero and your undying man love will never change that.Comment
