Spence has already admitted he can fight Crawford when he wants.

No mention of, he needs to be a superstar, or other side of the street?

What were the sweet nothings he whispered to Crawford over the phone, that calmed the lion down, do you think? “I’ll get so big and famous baby, I’ll be able to come swoop you right out of your abject poverty over to a real man’s network”?

I bet it was more along the obvious, that if he can’t get Pacquiao after Garcia. It can only be Crawford. And it was a fight that could have happened ages ago. For the people that fall for the “well, he should have signed with Haymon”. Spence has been choosing to save Crawford for last. That’s all.

I mean it was obvious neither side was ever in a hurry to make this fight, for some reason only Spence gets blamed for this when Bob Arum said out of his own mouth that he didn't want to make the fight until it was a HUGE PPV event, which two or three years ago, hell even as late as last year would not have been a 'HUGE PPV event'. This fight is just now getting big enough for Bob, which is also why Crawford won't fight any other top active WW besides Spence, unless Pac threw him a bone which it's obvious Pac isn't checking for Crawford at all.

Spence's whole face got ripped off of his skull. Think about that for a minute. The amount of surgery needed to fix it. Scar tissue, muscle, cartilage and flesh fused back together. It isn't going to be pretty when he starts getting punches in the face without a headguard on. Remains to be seen if he can make it through the Danny Garcia fight in one piece.

We would be getting that fight in november if it wasnt for the car crash and covid.

Spence vs danny would have happened in january like it was supposed to.

And pacquiao would still be out of the question for either guy which would have led them right to each other

Now its gonna be a year from now.

If he had to have surgery to put his face back on I'm sure there would be much more swelling and some stitches, staples, glue, something holding his face together besides you know his regular skin.

You said he had to have his face put back on, regardless when the picture was taken it clearly shows that isn't the case.

Ive noticed since that phone call Bud has calmed down and has been willing to bide his time while he waits on the Spence fight. Mean Machine, Brook, Robinson Jr, then a big fight with Spence.
