  • Gejon May Land Shot at Nino Romero

Eriberto "Yukka" Gejon is being eyed for a world title shot against either newly crowned WBC light flyweight champion Omar Nino Romero who scored a stunning lopsided decision over Brian Viloria last Friday or IBF champion Ulises Solis in a November 16 fight card promoted by Top Rank’s Bob Arum at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Gejon is a good fighter and has a good record to boot. His only loss in 22 fights was in his last which went to the scorecards after he suffered a deep cut from an accidental headbutt; a controversial SD. That loss was also his last fight. That was very close to a year ago; in September last year. That's a long lay-off.

i watch the fight 5 times... and it was a hometown decision..

Nida was surprised when he won... just like Bobby Pac vs Hernandez.

Yes, it was very controversial. Only the Latin American judge saw it for Gejon and the three point spread he had in Gejon's favor was just about correct. The two other judges went exactly the opposite way. Unbelievable.

the only way to win in japan is by k.o. or by a wide margin. You cant win there by decision
