What's Going On With The WBO Light Heavyweight Championship?

Seen a couple names ranked in the top 2 I never seen or heard anything about.

Anybody know whats going on since the belt is vacant?

A 4 man knockout tournament was ordered between Joe Smith Jr, Eleider Alvarez, Umar Salamov and Maxim Vlasov with the winners facing each other.

Smith stopped Alvarez last Saturday so he's in the final. Salamov vs Vlasov hasn't happened yet due to coronavirus and visa etc and its status is unknown

Personally, they should have done Smith v Alvarez for the title, Vlasov v Salamov for the mandatory position and the winners fight. At least that way, we'd have a champion now and it'd be from the better match up of Smith v Alvarez

Smith jr should be the champion!

He would flatline Salamov but have fits against Vlasov but eventually catch him an knock him out the ring too!

The real fight at 175 now it seems is Beterbiev vs Smith jr which ironically was supposed to happen but Team Beterbiev wanted a less dangerous “tune up” For Artur an went with Callum Johnson instead!
