Yeah, I was pretty shocked at the time. Then again, the ref did signal to box, you can see it on the video and Floyd would’ve had a clearer view of that or heard something. So I think Floyd must’ve heard a clear instruction. Ortiz probably thought Floyd was gonna be more sporting, touch gloves and restart in their own time.

But at first glance watching it, it just looked like he clocked him during the time out. So it seemed to uncharacteristic of Floyd when you consider how calm he was in the ring generally.
