Andrew Cancio's Top Rank debut has been delayed yet again. BoxingScene.com has been informed that Cancio's 10-round, 131-pound fight against Saul Rodriguez has been scratched from Top Rank's ESPN+ show September 12 in Las Vegas. Cancio, a former WBA super featherweight champion, and Rodriguez couldn't come to a financial agreement for a bout that was supposed to be part of the Egidijus Kavaliauskas-Mikael Zewski undercard at MGM Grand Conference Center.

Great! Used to have such great expectations for Neno, when he was coming up in RGBA. Unfortunately, the Mayweather gym ruin this kid career. Now, Neno isn’t even an afterthought, such a waste. At 27 he’s still young enough and has power on both fists to make noise @ 130-135 lbs divisions just don’t know if the desire is there to be great anymore after that brutal KO he suffered last yr.

Damn that sucks was looking forward to this one Neno is back getting good sparring at RGBA which to me is the best sparring you can get from 135-147 in California but I still favored Cancio. Neno just looks for the KO he looked bad against that Chilean Bravo and he should have lost and then he got knocked out but he will always have power so that made it interesting. It's crazy these guys are pricing themselves out though now is not the time especially for these lower tier names to be complaining about pay when they are not marquee fighters.

Cancio was using his face as defense in his last fight. I don’t see him winning any championships moving forward. Will probably be used by Top Rank as the stepping stone for young cats coming up. Good luck to him.
