If he is going to fight a light heavyweight then fight a good one like Bivol. At the championship level Pascal is no good and many years past prime as Kovalev showed years ago. It would just be another Canelo fight that everybody knows he will easily win. Canelo is a full time 168 pound fighter now and that is the only weight we will see him fight at until he retires. That is why he dropped the WBO light heavyweight belt and is now only trying to fight for a 168 pound belt. If he ever fights GGG again it will be at 168. That is Canelo's preferred weight now.

This would be a good fight. Pascal isn’t a world beater, especially not now, but he always comes to win. As the first poster said, this fight would produce fireworks and that’s all you need. Entertainment is the most important thing.
