I don't blame Porter for this at all...Boxing Is not as popular as the other sports that was on and started at the same time

You had NBA Playoffs on Free TV (ABC) and NHL Hockey on Free TV (NBC) as well as a UFC Card on ESPN so no this Card wasn't going to do big Ratings and I'm sure Lara Card this weekend will be even Lower than this Rating

Boxing will never be able to compete with those other Sports EVER! So when it goes head to head with NBA it will always get Squashed! That is a Boxing Issue not really just a "Shawn Porter Is Not A Draw" issue. FOX should be happy they was able to even get that high considering what it was up against.

Paradise Hotel set the bar extremely low on Fox and PBC still managing to do even worse ratings.

look at the caliber of his opponent it was against a guy who was not a threat. porter could not knock him out or even seriously hurt the guy. it was a showcase fight porter should have stopped him to create some excitement for himself.

Fox is over the airwaves free tv, and espn is a cable or subscription service.

Fox is free television, ESPN isn't. I'm paying $25 a month right now through Sling just to get access to ESPN.

Love to see it, much needed for the sport. I wonder how it did with the UFC that was on ESPN same night and same time.

fox is a free channel. anybody can watch fox as its one of the big four broadcasting networks in which you don't need cable to watch. you to pay for cable in order to get espn. more people can watch fox vs espn.
