Welter and Heavy are the classes where I can name most the big players off the top of my head

Me too. Middleweights also.

Heavyweight because every fight can turn on one punch.
Welterweight because it is often stacked and so many greats either fight there or pass through.
Featherweight because it's small dudes but they're not ridiculously small to where everyone calls them midgets and so many great fights have happened there and again, so many great fighters have passed through. Barrera, Morales, Pac, Pep, Loma, Salvador Sanchez, Gomez, and countless others.

And these are in no particular order.

Absolutely. I watched the Lewis-Klitschko fight live and was amazed at the devastating bombs being thrown and it was a very high work rate for two giants.
