The only one who fights more Top 10 guys is Joshua...Whyte aint just a mouth, the big man can throw hands - he just aint unbeatable, but who is? Would still like to see him and Wilder if Wilder hasn't retired.

My thoughts exactly! Nobody can say it wasn’t entertaining!

Yes, povetkin had touched down but he didn't appear "on his last legs". If Whyte had thought he was, why didn't he try to finish?
Povetkins pedigree and experience were major factors and, unfortunately for Whyte, winning until you get beat doesn't really cut it; it just makes you a "nearly man".

Whyte has a rematch clause like Fury, Wilder, AJ, Andy, Canelo and all the top fighters.

BTW, if you take away the ball, players, goals, rules and let two guys fight...you would be right, soccer would be just like boxing.

It would be like united loosing to spurs not liking the result & invoking a rematch clause making the rest of the division wait. It's farcical.
What fans are left that want to see Fury vs Whyte now if he does get the W in the rematch.
            Get undesputed on asap.
Wilders vanished & pulev... Another old man with a mando spot for fighting who? Fury light, booker, dinu gtfoh!

If only Fury and Wilder were as confident.

Ah, the new Sky sports narrative. The corner were about to "pull him out" apparently. They've been practicing the excuses all day. I can't stand the IFL Sky crew now. They've been working Povetkin out of the result today. If you hear them talk it's like Whyte won. He's gonna win the rematch easily apparently. In fact, let's just call it a win and pretend round five didn't happen.

Both would have ended Whyte, he can't even hang with a 40 year old. All that yapping to just get destroyed. He should have focused on his opponent instead of telling sparring stories. They had bigger fish to fry with each other. There was no sense in acknowledging Whyte when he was booked and they were booked with each other.

This is what seperates real fighters from quitters. Fighters don't give up when they lose. Whyte has been beating top-10 opposition every fight. He is top-5. Povetkin was ranked 6 before this fight. Why the hell would Whyte give up? He could lose again against Povetkin and still become a champ in the future.

Lucky you aren't a boxer. You would give up after your first loss.

Dude they were too scared to even get in the ring with Whyte. How could they have ended him?

Mock Whyte as much as you want or however much makes you feel more of a man - but at least he will fight anybody anytime.

Wilder produced an A4 page-full of conditions Whyte would have to fulfill before he fought him. Then Wilder went and fought Dominic Breazeale... Just take of business man. Fight your challengers, don't be a p**** about it

Fury promised to fight Whyte then ran when the WBC agreed to the fight.

So sure these guys would have ended him - seems like they both lack confidence when it comes down to it
