Devin Haney's discipline, dedication and work ethic is truly elite

Most kids his age aren't entirely focused on boxing. This kid is always in the gym, staying away from alcohol and bad habits. Always makes weight. Right up there with Canelo, Mayweather and Hopkins when it comes to full dedication of their craft.

Some of the boxers around his age could learn a thing or two from Haney.

Kid is going to go far.

a few years ago i made a post..i dont know if it was here or on another forum where i put his and floyds pics side by side and wondered if floyd wasnt secretly his real father

its good to see being in vegas and around floyd a bit has rubbed off on him...

i wouldnt be suprised to see him with mayweather promotions/pbc in a few years...haney wasnt dumb signing with matchroom....they are/were throwing money around over at DAZN and hes prob making more right now than most guys his age...but i dont know if hearn will be in america much longer or that theyll be throwing around the money that they were....DAZN could be in trouble and hearn could be out of the american boxing game too...we shall see

He is doing what he is supposed to do. That is good but not amazing. Lots of other young boxers his age are just as talented and just as dedicated to boxing.

his work ethic may be elite but his opponent selection and resume are pretty poor. the guy has yet to face an elite opponent and some people have been crowing him for years now! I guess he's waiting for loma to hit 40 years of age before he tries his luck.

Huh? He wanted to fight Lomachenko next and even became his mandatory.

Lomachenko's promoter asked for Franchise Champion designation and had him vacate the WBC belt instead of facing Haney.

Did he not become Lomas mando and then Loma became franchise champ? Just asking as I may have missed something
