I wish Whyte the best, and hopefully he gets to fight Wilder soon, seems to be a fight a lot of people want to see.
Past it but still dangerous... that pretty much sums it up IMO.

I didn't write him off. He was a titlist, a gold medalist and has power. On top of that, he never fought like a stiff Euro fighter.

I can admit that I was wrong, I doubted Povetkin but now I have a new found respect for the man. He is a legend of the sport. It is okay to call a fight wrong, it isn't meant as a disrespect or anything like that, nobody gets it right all the time. The ones who get me, are the ones who can say after that fight, "Yup, went exactly as I said it would!" At the end of the 4th round, only a moron, or Nostrodamus, could see Povetkin winning the fight from there. For someone to say, "I was right with my pick!", people either picked Whyte wide, or Povetkin to win a close fight. Nobody on here said, "Whyte will put about 3-4 rounds in the bag, have Povetkin on the verge of stoppage, then get stopped himself!" Nobody said that. The amount of idiots on here suggesting they called this order of events is laughable. Gratz for saying "Povetkin has a chance", but don't make out you called it.
Price may not have a chin, but there's no dis*****g his power. Not surprising to me that he could wobble a buffalo

                  - -He was a Euro fighter for yrs before loony Teddy taught him Tyson's bob and weave defensive tricks where he could leverage his power.

But then then Teddy melted under the stress and had to leave.

Povetkin is a world class fighter. He has skills and they came in with a plan.

Too me it looked like he was getting beat to the punch because Whyte reflexes are better at this point in their careers.

The minute that Whyte did not throw that short left hook he got tagged

Go back and check old fights, he always was more of a move low and counter kind of guy. He never really had a straight up, move back with your chin up kind of style. I can agree that maybe Teddy made him better but certainly didn't mold his whole style.

On a side note, this does go to show just how good a prime Wlad Klitschko was.
