I genuinely think Whyte would have been Wilders "Body"

That punch from Povetkin literally had Whyte in the air.
I don't know if I have seen such a powerful shot in the last 2 years.

There's a thing about changing opinions based on outcomes and flip floppers. You are a flip flopper.

          Well why didn't he?

Wilder flat out refused an offer of $5m for a lesser version of Whyte...and he demanded $8m instead. However he got paid $2m for Ortiz later. Make of that what you will.
Later after dazn money came in, Wilder was offered $8m, he rejected it and took $5m for Fury.

Both times he told everyone that Whyte was a peasant (and yet Whyte was bringing money to the table for Wilder, more than he'd ever earnt at that stage).
Telling everyone, repeating over and over again that Ortiz/Tyson Fury were the second best HW in the world.

The punch that did the job was a specific uppercut set up by attacking Whyte's left side first followed by the uppercut to his right side. Povetkin said he trained for that specific punch.

personally i don't doubt Wilder's power would do far more damage to Whyte, but he wouldn't be setting up/throwing the punch that got Whyte.

What about if whyte had dropped Wilder first like he did povetkin?

Personally I just think it would be a case of whoever lands first.
