Sad for Whyte, stylistically he stood a great chance against Fury, can see him winning that fight, doubt it ever happens now
Idk what stylistically speaking you saw that had you thinking it matched up well to Fury to give him a great chance. I think Fury is highly skilled & of a high strategic mind that he's gonna be a tough nut to crack maybe to a higher degree than Wlad was when Wlad was in his long groove. I think anyone's best shot at beating Fury right now involves Fury getting lax, side tracked or overwhelmed outside of the ring which then could impact his in the ring performances. Or basically the best chance folks have in beating Fury is Fury beating himself first or primarily & then a opponent doing so in the ring vs a not as good or underperforming Fury.
More like a nightmare. Hearn has had (2) of his top fighters suffer bad stoppage losses in less than 1 year and 3 months going back to June 2019. Joshua avenged his stoppage loss, will Whyte. I think so. But I can’t remember a Promoter having 2 of his top horses getting stopped in around a 1 year time span.
On the feed I watched it was hilarious because they were saying Povetkin was shot and finished and needed to retire then he ktfo Whyte and out of nowhere the commentator SHOUTED DILLIAN WHYTES CAREER IS OVER
lol ridiculous... Whyte was gassed from round 3 because of Povetkin's body shots. The flash knockdowns came because of the Russian's overconfidence, seeing nothing dangerous was coming back from the brit, who looked as bad as his last 2 outings.

I agree I actually had Povetkin ahead on points by a couple of points when he stopped Whyte, he schooled that brit from star to finish
