Respect from one elite fighter to the other.

I really hope politics don't get in the way of this fight, while I expect Fury to outbox him soundly, I want to see it, Povetkin would be a great win on his resume.

WBC aren’t going to call the mandatory soon, it was only in Whyte was mandatory still. That’s what Hearn said anyway.

Still if fury and Povetkin could happen soonish and if it allows fury to free up the mandatory situation for a while, it will be good to get out the way and let Joshua get his out the way and then they can fight with no issues.

Although Whyte has a rematch clause with Povetkin, and fury obviously still has to fight Wilder, but I’m not sure Wilder fancies it.

But depending on how things go, I wouldn’t be against seeing fury v Povetkin if it happens before the Joshua fight because Joshua has to take care of a mandatory to as well

I wouldn't have a problem with Povetkin getting his shot. Whyte can get back in line, and AJ needs to take care of Pulev and Usyk first. Fair is fair! Hopefully Hearn will push Usyk's mandatory position as hard as he did Whyte's.

What's sad is, Haye would look elite against the current roster.

He would be in the mix, but Fury would take his soul, and Wilder, Povetkin, Coffie, Ortiz, and Miller should all be favored over him. A quick, hard heel to his big toe when you turn Haye so his back is towards the ref, and he's done.
