      Depends what you mean Primo Carnera was very pop with italian americans during his time . I think Bob Fitzsimmons was somewhat pop also and he was from Cornwall England.

              Fitzsimmons was extremely popular in his day. I think he was one of the more popular european heavyweight champions due mostly to his freakish power and likeable personality.
