Ugas is choosing to fight some journeyman who got losses to Baranchyk and Prograis at 140 for some fake ass WBA 147 belt. Do you honestly believe his purse for that fight will be more than he would have made fighting Crawford on ESPN. Ugas made $300,000 to fight Shawn Porter.

I am tired of defending Crawford for fighting mediocre opponents fight after fight after fight. Brook was a good fight when Spence fought him so long ago but he has not looked good since then and he is weight drained at 147 and told us that a few years ago. Crawford will probably KO Brook but it won't be a win to be proud of. Thurman asking 10 million was ridiculous but I don't think Porter was asking too much but Arum and Crawford never seemed to even try to put that fight together. Ugas would be a better more worthy opponent for Crawford than cherry pick Brook.

They were not serious bro. Thurman wanted $10 mil, yeah in these pandemic times. It's ridiculous. Porter couldn't even clarify whether he would fight on ESPN or not and hinted he was not leaving his uncle Al. (Since when did Haymon cared about what the Porters choose to do?) Ugas didn't even wait and accepted a gimme fight right away from uncle Al.

Don't know why you take these PBC fighters seriously.

heres why we take the pbc fighters seriously

because shawn porter has 5 guys on his resume that are all better than crawfords best win

            thurman has at least 3

and crawford doesnt have a win as good as brook from 3 years ago, mikey or porter

keep perpetuating your nonsense....the only people that buy it are the same pbc hating losers

lol@thinking thurman really wanted 10 mil because bomac said so..lol

if crawford was about that life that you want to believe he is...hed tell arum to get him shawn porter and then beat the dog piss out of porter and get on camera and say "spence where you at"....instead he said "thats not on our radar...theres nothing there for me"

he tells you that he only wants belts and big fights.....so by logic why would he want thurman? youre nuts if you think thurman wouldnt take less than 10 mil to fight bud...but you are that delusional

              I agree with you.

The same issue will follow Bud, tho, since 154 is dominated by PBC as well. If he can still make 147 comfortably, Bud should stay there.

As long as the fight is at 147lbs then it's an excellent fight for crawford and I'm happy for this fight.

I don't mean staying at 154. Just fighting a champion in a meaningful fight next. Kell brook moved to junior middle and was afraid to fight anyone legit including Jeff Horn. He really doesn't deserve a good payday. All he will do is turn around later on and say making weight affected him too much.

its not a great fight...but its not bad either...alot better than the alternatives at this point

just gets tiring listening to people say that pbc guys are "ducking" him....all because they despise anything affiliated with pbc/floyd/haymon

bob arum stated a few years ago that he would prefer to wait on spence/crawford until it was a ppv worthy fight that would do well....this basically tells you all you need to know...combine that statement with arums penchant for in house fights and it all makes sense

these outfits dont wanna do business with each other until/unless they have to......when it was worth it to both sides they did fury/wilder rematch and it was easy because it was an anticipated fight that was going to sell and had a huge buzz

if bob arum had the pbc roster of 147 and the pbc had crawford do you think bob would even consider looking to make a fight with the pbc ww? of course not.....it makes much more sense when he has a ton of good fights to make in house

its not going to be profitable for bob to put crawford in with garcia, thurman or porter unless he can get them on the cheap...which isnt going to happen.....for those fights to make sense to bob he would need control of danny, thurman or porter...which he doesnt.....and those are all good fights but they arent huge ppv worthy fights.....bob arum matching crawford with danny, thurman and porter wont be profitable to arum ...which is why he has no real interest in them...he might say he does....i get it..i know what hes doing....its fine...thats what promoters do....but hes not honest or genuine...

arums whole business model and his own words tell you the story....arum isnt going to bring a pbc star to fight crawford ...unless its a big ppv co promotion with a big buzz......ill wait till he proves me wrong

I, too, absolutely do not want to see Bud-Brook.
