Why endanger the chance of a guaranteed $hot at a belt by taking on a fight against a dangerous foe!!
What is the though process here?!?!
The (prize) fight game is a business first!!!

    Wake up Dillian.
Will be rooting for him though while i want the best man to win.
He is an idiot, he shouldn’t have taken a fight like this. He should have fought another bum. Someone like his last opponent.

Say what you want about Whyte (as I'm not his biggest fan by any means) but there's no boxer out there with a better resume who hasn't fought for a world title.

And what's with the rubbish about him being scared? Just because a fighter doesn't accept financial terms offered doesn't automatically make them scared. He's been in with AJ twice and never come accross as being remotely intimidated against anyone.

I’m probably going to change my pick to a Whyte UD instead of stoppage . The no crowd factor could come into play where Whyte up on cards will not rush into mistakes, there’s just to much on the line is right . I can see both fighters going down as well .

I think Povetkin is going to start lightening fast. Wouldn't be surprised if Whyte gets wobbled early. Povetkin can't box 3 minutes of every round anymore but he'll realise this is realistically his last shot and be thoroughly prepared. Strange fight for Whyte to commit to given what's at stake.

He will do great PPV numbers potentially fighting Povetkin who fought AJ not long ago and is no stranger to the U.K it’s a smart move actually even in a loss because he cannot land the undisputed anytime soon ,risk vs reward I guess ,he’s not that much in a rush to get a title fight when he declined an AJ one already so he is betting on himself and getting better . Many people will be watching on DAZN as well ,he’s going to get a huge profile boost with not much going on in the sports world .

If he loses, it will reinforce the "idiot" tag.

If he wins he will would have been one of the few HW with a truly credible record who has not fought for a title.

No matter what i think he has done well for himself.
Wish he and his team were a bit more smart and selective about their choice of opponent.

Now he should be more focused on stay busy fights against the likes of Chazz Washington just like Usyk did!!!

If he wins they would claim Povetkin is shot and was 40 years old. This is why I called him an idiot pre-fight. Honestly look at Fury, Wilder... They are very smart with their tune up. You don’t go into a mandatory fighting people like Rivas or Povetkin, I called him an idiot because he is self-managed, this fight was always a difficult fight due to Povetkin’s background as an amateur and pro, people are focussing on the KO, but look at what Povetkin was doing about 15-20 secs before the KO.

Whyte should have been fighting Gerald Washington, arreola, winters sort of level, I applaud him for taking tough fights but in this business you have got to cherrypick when you have your pot of gold right near you.

There is a reason why the top names weren’t keen to fight Whyte, and it’s not because he is that dangerous, it’s because even a little element of risk from him they are NOT willing to take it.
