Just rewatched Kovalevs fight against Eleider 2 and Yarde

Don't know why they 2 couldnt beat Kovalev he looks nowhere like the Krusher. he looks soft as charmin like when he fought Canelo. He was washed up after that Jean Pascal fight imo. I mean dude couldnt even knock out chillemba

Who's all knocked out Chillemba? The Nail stopped him but that was an injury or something.

Yeah Chilemba isn't an easy guy to stop, which is why he hasn't been stopped. Fight was ended because of a broken right hand against Gvozdyk.

I doubt he ever fights again. He was very good once but he was already washed up long before he fought Canelo.

Kovalev's career has been downhill since the second Ward fight.

I am not sure if it was comfort or loss of dedication, but it is true. After the second Pascal fight Kovalev lost his killer instinct. That is his own doing and should not he used to discredit other fighters victories over him.

He seemed complacent in the fights following Pascal 2.

I think Kovalev lost about 5 pounds of weight on fight night, in order to make weight more comfortably and have more stamina. This affected him.

He was 180 on fight night for the second Alvarez fight. When he used to be at 185 in the past.

Kovalev was 33 when he fought Chilemba, so I think a combination of success, age and lifestyle gradually took its toll.
