Didn't say it wasn't a good move for Hooker. Since he plans to move up to 147, then obviously PBC is the move. Just saying he's not very good and DAZN isn't losing much with him leaving since they didn't have many options at 147 and now can avoid paying him 7 figures.

Yup, starting to look that way... Fast Eddie really knows how to fook stuff up. I wonder what will happen with the Matchroom USA prospects seeing that DAZN own 50% of the promotion. They do have some solid up in comers like Pacheco, Espino, Haney, Castro, Madrinov and a few others too...Comment

Smart move, he signed with the promotion who can give him good fights fairly easily and quickly at the division he is moving up to, I figured he would have just stayed with DAZN cashing fat checks and milked that tit until it dried up and fell off and then claimed he is being ducked by the other top fighters in the division while they all fight each other...Comment

I kinda gotta wonder what moves does DAZN make now? Keep putting out a US card here and there and try to focus more on being a global app?Comment

Who knows, but boxing was never a major long-term investment for them in the first place. Maybe they just put limited amount of cards out and take a lot of the fights to the UK when they debut there.Comment

Hooker was never one of dazn main stars but will be interesting what happens over next month or so as not much announced in USA side for dazn since coming back - although to be fair neither has the other networks in my eyes. The matchroom UK side has had some belters to be fair though and has obviously been streamed on dazn too. With dazn planning to launch in UK though still a lot of questions on what will happen with matchroom and dazn linkComment
