I've been saying that for awhile, people really underestimating Plant. The sad part not is if they were to go into that fight and Plant wins people would discredit the win saying Benavidez was drained making weight.

On another note, Plant better not fight the winner of Truax and Angulo. His last couple opponents have already been lackluster, he doesn't need to follow that up with another. He deserves all the ridicule if he fights one of those guys next

Plant is a very talented fighter, but all he seems to have an appetite for is soda cans. Since winning the title, he's shown no inclination to fight a Top 5 guy in the division. Alfredo Angulo is a natural jr. middleweight punching bag. Truax is a regional level journeyman. Why either is rated in anyone's Top 10 is sickening. Kid Chocolate should be retired now -- no excuse for losing to Angulo. If Benavidez isn't careful, he will wind up as another Chavez Jr. (minus the skirt and pink leotards). It's truly sad what the sport of boxing has become. I can't believe this is the same sport I used to buy boxing magazines in the 70s, 80s and 90s to follow like a fanatic.
